Situated in the heart of the Cévennes, near the Tarn gorges, Mas de la Cam 4* campsite lies in a stunning natural setting, by the banks of the Gardon river. Choose from a shady pitch or a luxurious holiday cottage, blending modernity and tradition. This family-friendly campsite is the ideal spot for a relaxing stay in the great outdoors in Occitanie.
We offer spacious pitches of between 100 and 120 m2 for tents, caravans and campers, with electricity; or superb stone holiday cottages with all the modern comforts for up to six people. Some have a private garden where you can have breakfast or a barbecue with your family, friends or partner.

WHAT TO DO IN THE GORGES OF TARN?
World famous, the Gorges of Tarn designate a magnificent canyon dug by the river between the communes of Rozier and Quezac. They are located in Lozère but can be seen from Aveyron. They are a fabulous natural area for hiking, canoeing, climbing, swimming and caving. From the Sublime Point, you will have a striking view of the canyon that will reward your efforts during the ascent. Several other points of view and unusual sites allow to fully appreciate this wonder of the nature, in particular the Straits, the circus of St Chély-of-Tarn, the circus of Baumes and the circus of Pougnadoires. The Lozère is full of other extraordinary natural sites such as the Aven Armand and the Dargilan cave, as well as parks and museums dedicated to nature and archeology (House of Vultures, ecomuseum of Mont Lozère, archaeological museum of Banassac).
Gorges of Tarn are both a natural and cultural site of great value. Walking along the canyon, it is possible to see on the heights of small castles that give a special charm to the villages of the Grands Causses and Occitanie such as Sainte-Enimie (Castelbouc castle), La Malène and Hauterives.
